Pocket diversion safes
There are places where you cannot leave anything behind and you cannot carry a wallet either. A festival, a night out, a hostel dorm, a beach, a long trip with one bag. What you actually need on you is small: a couple of notes, a card, a spare key, a memory card. Everything else is dead weight and, in a crowd, an invitation.
Pocket diversion safes are the objects you already carry with a compartment inside. A lighter, a vape, a phone charger, a marker pen, a belt. They go in a jeans pocket, a jacket, a bum bag or around your waist, and nobody looks at them twice because there is nothing to look at.
What fits inside
A lighter takes folded notes, a memory card or a small key. A charger and a marker pen take the same, with a little more length. The money belt is the one with real room: banknotes lie flat along the inside of the strap and the belt still works and still looks like a belt. Every product page gives the outside size and the usable compartment separately, so you can measure what you carry and pick once.
Going out and festivals
At a concert or a festival you are pressed against strangers for hours, your bag is on the floor and the cloakroom queue costs you half a set. A lighter in your front pocket is a thing you would be carrying anyway, and it holds the cash you need for the bar and the ticket home. The belt does the same job for the rest: it stays on you all day, it does not need a zip and it does not go anywhere when you dance.
Travelling
Splitting your money is the oldest rule of travelling and it still works: never carry everything in the same place. Keep the daily cash in your wallet and the reserve somewhere that is not a wallet. A spare card and a folded note inside a belt, a hostel locker key inside a lighter, a memory card with your backups inside a charger that lives in your bag with all the other chargers. If a bag walks off, you have not lost the lot.
Why it works
Anything that looks like a safe announces that there is something inside. These do the opposite: they look like the fifty cent object nobody bothers with. There is nothing to force, no code to remember and nothing to install. They cost nothing to run, they weigh what the real object weighs and they go with you from the car to the hotel to the beach.
The rest of the range
For the house, the kitchen collection covers tins, jars and drink cans, the bathroom collection covers personal care containers, the car collection covers the glovebox and the boot, and the toolbox collection covers tools and fixings. Everything is in the full catalogue.
Made by hand, shipped from Spain
Most of these objects are assembled by hand to order, which is why preparation takes about a week before the parcel leaves. Orders travel in plain, unbranded packaging with a tracking number, to more than fifty countries. Times by destination are in the shipping policy, and the FAQ answers the rest.
These are decorative containers with a concealed compartment, not certified safes: they offer no protection against fire, water or forced entry, and they are intended for the lawful storage of your own belongings.
