Cookie Policy
Cart, session and payment. Without them the shop does not work, so they load without asking. They cannot be switched off.
Analytics and advertising stay off until you accept them in the banner. Nothing loads behind your back.
Reopen the banner from the list below and switch categories on or off. The change applies from that moment.
This page explains what we use and why. The list further down is generated automatically and always shows exactly what is running on safe-stash.com today.
01What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website leaves on your device so it can remember something between one page and the next: what you put in the cart, that you are logged in, which language you chose.
Alongside cookies, sites use similar technologies that do the same job: pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits. Everything on this page applies to all of them, and we call them all cookies to keep it readable.
02Who sets the cookies on this shop
- Us, for the things the shop needs to work: your cart, your session and the checkout.
- Shopify, the platform that hosts safe-stash.com, for the same reasons plus fraud prevention.
- Our providers, such as payment processors, analytics tools and advertising partners. Each one applies its own privacy policy.
Consent is managed with Cookiebot, which is what shows you the banner, records your choice and generates the list at the bottom of this page.
03The categories we use
- Necessary. The cart, the session, the payment process and security. They load without asking because without them there is no shop. They cannot be refused.
- Preferences. They remember choices you have made, such as your country, currency or language, so you do not have to set them again.
- Statistics. They tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and where people get stuck. We use it to fix the shop, not to identify you.
- Marketing. They let us and our partners show you advertising that is relevant and measure whether it worked.
- Unclassified. Cookies that are still being categorised. If any appear in the list below, they are there.
Only the necessary ones load on their own. The other four wait until you accept them.
04Accepting, refusing or changing your mind
The first time you visit, the banner asks you what you accept. You can take everything, take nothing beyond the necessary, or pick category by category.
You can change that decision whenever you like, and as often as you like, from the consent panel that appears with the list below. Withdrawing consent stops the affected cookies from that moment on. It does not erase what was collected while the consent was valid, and for that you have the rights set out in the privacy policy.
05Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond our banner, every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its own settings, usually under privacy or site data. You can also browse in a private window, which discards everything when you close it.
Two things worth knowing before you block everything: deleting cookies also deletes the record of your consent, so the banner will ask you again; and blocking the necessary ones breaks the cart and the checkout.
The full list, always up to date
Generated automatically by Cookiebot, category by category, with the provider, the purpose and how long each one lasts. It reflects what is actually running on this site right now, not what we wrote down once.
07Changes to this policy
We update this page when we add or remove a tool. The list above changes on its own, because it is generated from what is really installed.
If a change materially affects your rights, you will see it in the banner: Cookiebot asks for consent again when the categories change.
